  • BOOK INSPIRED CANDLE

At last, a candle inspired by Leopold Bloom, from the classic novel Ulysses by James Joyce. Bloomsday is celebrated on the 16th of June every year in Dublin and around the world.  The day is named for Leopold Bloom, the central character in Ulysses, and the novel follows a day in the life of Leopold Bloom and numerous other characters - real and imagined - throughout the day of 16th June 1904.  If you visit Dublin on Bloomsday, you may find the events of the novel being reenacted by fans in period costume, or they may be handing out blooms at the airport.  This beautiful floral scented candle is my contribution to Bloomsday celebrations.
